Commercial Battery Guide is published by Arcgrid, the trading brand of AUTONOMOUS RENEWABLES CONTROL LTD (company number 17478132). Arcgrid provides UK energy management software for battery storage, solar and grid-connected assets.

We created this resource to make the early questions easier: what a battery can deliver, how losses affect the economics and what a grid connection may involve. The tools are free to use without creating an account.

A clear commercial relationship

Arcgrid has a commercial interest in energy management. This is an openly branded educational resource, and we do not present it as an independent review site. Links to Arcgrid explain where its software or simulator relates to the topic. We do not publish invented customer results, reviews or expert credentials.

Our editorial approach

Guides are attributed to the Arcgrid editorial team and show their review date. We link to primary ENA, network operator and research sources where relevant. We label examples and calculator assumptions as illustrative and distinguish general guidance from a site-specific design.

Requirements and project economics change. Confirm current documents, tariffs, equipment information and connection requirements before committing to a project. Great Britain and Northern Ireland have different connection arrangements.
